An ode to the Thoroughbred, but also a place for insight, experience, and reflection on their training.
While Aubrey happily trains all horses, Thoroughbreds hold a special place due to their intelligence, heart, drive, sensitivity, quirks, and honesty.
Each year, Aubrey trains over 50 Thoroughbreds, from their first post-track rides to retraining for second careers, further education, show experience, and addressing behavioral issues.
Aubrey acts as a translator between horse and human, sharing insights through her "Thoroughbred Logic" series on Horse Nation, national masterclasses, and local clinics. This effort aims to:
Aubrey's approach is just one of many, built on her personal experience with these horses. The ongoing learning process with horses is what makes it so engaging. So, let's keep moving forward.

Raised in a Vermont horse training family, Jec studied dressage in Europe before settling in California. Around 15 years ago, Jec recognized that most rider issues stemmed from horses' poor body use – lacking strength, coordination, or balance. Horse training had become overly specialized.
This led Jec to write "101 Dressage Exercises" (2005), endorsed by the USDF. Three more internationally trusted books followed, focused on restoring horses' movement, enjoyment, and strength.
Today, Jec works globally through publications, fitness plans, online courses, and clinics.

The North Texas Eventing Association (NTEA) invites you to attend an informative virtual webinar presented by Laura Qusen of Tipperary. This session will provide valuable insights into equestrian safety certifications.
ASTM sets global product quality and safety standards, with over 12,000 used worldwide and reviewed by experts biannually.
Its subsidiary, SEI, certifies products meeting strict standards through factory audits and ongoing testing. SEI certification for equestrian helmets requires passing ASTM F1163 impact tests (4 drops from 6ft).
EN 1384:2023 is the EU's head protection standard, ensuring safety for products sold there.
All Tipperary helmets are SEI certified to ASTM F1163-23; Clover, Royal, Windsor, Devon, and Caledon also meet EN 1384:2023.
SEI-certified Tipperary body protectors include: Eventer Pro and Contender (ASTM F1937-04 for riding), and Competitor (ASTM F2681-18 for racing).

The North Texas Eventing Association (NTEA) invites you to attend a virtual webinar with Dr. Becky McGill of The Equine Spine
Becky McGill's life has revolved around horses, from childhood trail rides to starting colts. She competed in collegiate Western and Hunt Seat while earning her BS, later training for her mother's Foxtrotter stable.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate with a DC degree from Parker, she also earned an Acupuncture diploma. After practicing chiropractic with her father, she returned to DFW, opening Abundant Health Chiropractic in Carrollton and naturally adding an equine division.
Committed to advanced knowledge, Mrs. McGill completed the intensive AVCA certification at Parker, becoming an AVCA-certified animal chiropractor (one of ~1500 nationally).
She aims to educate the public on animal spine adjustment's importance and is available for lectures and clinics. In her free time, she enjoys gentle Western and English horse training.
