Al Smith Award
Adult current NTEA-member, 22 years of age or over, who exhibits enthusiasm, sportsmanship and tireless service in support of eventing. Previous winners of this award are ineligible.
The winner receives a plaque at the Awards Banquet and a $500 grant to be used at the winner's discretion for personal education in equestrian sports, especially eventing.
The Scholarship and Awards Committee makes a recommendation to the Board from the nominees. The Board selects a winner.

Youth "Earn Your Spurs" Award Member Nominated Click here for nomination rules. scroll down for submission instructions Deadline: 11:59 PM on November 14 Youth current NTEA-member, age 13-21 years, who exhibits horsemanship, sportsmanship, positive attitude, integrity, strong work ethic, service to others and teamwork. Previous winners of this award are ineligible. The winner receives a set of spurs in an engraved box at the Awards Banquet and a $250 grant to be used at the winner's discretion for personal education in equestrian sports, especially eventing. The Scholarship and Awards Committee makes a recommendation to the Board from the nominees. The Board selects a winner. |
